ShearJoy Pet Resort is nestled on a peaceful, quiet, and serene 3 acres.  We are about an hour south of Chicago with easy access to I55 and I57. Owners Pat and Jodi Myers live in the home adjacent to the Resort.   

 

WHY SHEARJOY PET RESORT

ShearJoy Pet Resort offers 14 individual private runs, each equipped with its own indoor space as well as a doggy door to an enclosed outdoor space. We provide elevated beds, comfy blankets, and food and water bowls. Each run is sanitized daily, and each of our guests gets access to larger play areas, both indoor and outdoor, multiple times per day. We understand your pet is family and we nurture them with tender love and care during their entire stay. ShearJoy is a state-of-the-art facility. Some of the features include hot water heated floors, central A/C, 14 private runs with 24-hour outdoor access, and comfortable beds and blankets. We can give you peace of mind while you are away that your pet is in excellent hands. We encourage communication during the stay and welcome texts or calls to check in. All dog breeds are welcome. We understand that every dog is different and we are able to provide our service to both friendly and social pups as well as grouchy or aggressive ones.
